These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) govern the rental of vehicles provided by:

(hereinafter referred to as “IGMA Rental”, “Lessor”, “we” or “us”).

By completing a booking, the customer (“Lessee”) agrees to be bound by this Agreement.

1. Eligibility and Driver Requirements

• Minimum driver age: 25 years

• The driver must hold a valid driving license accepted in Norway.

• Non-EU licenses may require an International Driving Permit (IDP).

• The license must have been held for at least 12 months.

IGMA Rental reserves the right to refuse rental if requirements are not met.

2. Rental Duration – Daytime Rental Only

Standard rental duration is 12 consecutive hours within the same calendar day and within IGMA Rental’s opening hours, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

The vehicle must be returned before closing time on the agreed rental day.

Overnight rental is not included unless expressly approved in writing.

Extension requests must be made in advance and are only valid if confirmed in writing by IGMA Rental.

3. Booking and Payment

Payment is due at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed.

All prices are stated in NOK (Norwegian Kroner) and include VAT unless otherwise specified.

IGMA Rental reserves the right to correct manifest pricing errors.

4. No Deposit – Charge Authorization

IGMA Rental does not require a deposit.

The Lessee expressly authorizes IGMA Rental to charge the registered payment method, without prior notice if necessary, for any amounts due under this Agreement, including but not limited to:

• Insurance excess

• Damage or repair costs

• Cleaning fees

• Key replacement

• Misfueling costs

• Toll and ferry charges

• Traffic fines

• Administrative fees

• Late return charges

• Any breach of this Agreement

This authorization remains valid after the rental period ends.

5. Vehicle Condition at Pickup

The vehicle is delivered in roadworthy condition.

The Lessee must inspect the vehicle at pickup and immediately report any visible damage.

Failure to report visible damage implies acceptance of the vehicle’s condition.

6. Use of the Vehicle

The vehicle may only be used:

• In accordance with Norwegian law

• By the Lessee or approved driver

• Within Norway unless approved in writing

Driving outside Norway is strictly prohibited unless prior written approval is granted.

The vehicle must not be:

• Sublet

• Used for racing or competition

• Used under the influence of alcohol or drugs

• Used in violation of traffic laws

Smoking and transportation of animals are prohibited.

Cleaning fee: NOK 2,500 (incl. VAT)

Vehicles are equipped with seasonally appropriate tires in accordance with Norwegian regulations.

7. Late Return

The vehicle must be returned at the agreed time.

Delay exceeding 1 hour entitles IGMA Rental to charge:

• One additional rental day

• Plus NOK 300 administrative fee

If the vehicle is not returned within 24 hours after agreed return time, IGMA Rental may report the vehicle as unlawfully retained and initiate recovery procedures.

The Lessee is liable for all related costs.

8. Insurance and Liability

The vehicle is insured in accordance with Norwegian law.

8.1 Collision Damage Waiver (CDW)

Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) is included.

CDW reduces liability but does not eliminate the insurance excess.

CDW is valid only if the Lessee complies fully with this Agreement.

8.2 Standard Insurance Excess

The Lessee is liable for NOK 12,000 per damage incident (per claim).

Each separate damage event is treated as an individual incident.

8.3 Glass Damage

For isolated glass damage only:

NOK 4,000 per incident

If glass damage occurs together with other damage, the standard excess applies.

8.4 Unlimited Liability

The Lessee may be held fully liable without limitation in cases of:

• Gross negligence

• Driving under the influence

• Intentional damage

• Driving without valid license

• Violation of this Agreement

• Unauthorized driving outside Norway

• Failure to report damage

If the insurer refuses coverage due to breach of policy terms, the Lessee is liable for full repair or replacement costs.

9. Fuel Policy

The vehicle is delivered with a full tank (or minimum 60% charge for electric vehicles).

The vehicle must be returned with the same fuel level.

If returned with less fuel:

• Cost of missing fuel (based on local market price), plus

• Fixed refueling service fee of NOK 500 (incl. VAT)

Incorrect refueling results in full liability.

10. Misfueling

If incorrect fuel is used, the Lessee is liable for:

• Draining and cleaning of fuel system

• Repairs

• Towing

• Administrative costs

Minimum administrative fee: NOK 8,000 (incl. VAT)
Plus full documented repair costs.

Misfueling is not covered by CDW.

11. Loss of Key

If the vehicle key is lost or damaged, the Lessee is liable for:

• Replacement key

• Reprogramming

• Lock replacement if required

• Towing

Minimum charge: NOK 7,500 (incl. VAT)
Full documented cost applies if higher.

Key loss is not covered by CDW.

12. Toll Roads, Ferries and Parking

All vehicles are equipped with AutoPASS toll devices.

Toll roads and ferry crossings will be post-invoiced or charged directly to the registered payment method.

The vehicle cannot be connected to a private toll agreement.

Parking fines and private road charges remain the Lessee’s responsibility.

Administrative handling fee: NOK 150 per charge

13. Vehicle Substitution

IGMA Rental reserves the right to substitute the booked vehicle with another vehicle of similar or higher category if necessary.

In case of upgrade, the agreed rental price remains unchanged.

14. Cancellation Policy

Cancellation is free of charge up to 24 hours before pickup.

Cancellation less than 24 hours before pickup may result in a fee of NOK 350.

Failure to collect the vehicle without prior cancellation may result in full rental charge.

15. GPS Tracking

All vehicles are equipped with GPS tracking devices.

Tracking data may be used for:

• Theft prevention

• Vehicle recovery

• Investigation of breach of contract

• Operational fleet management

Tracking is not used for continuous monitoring under normal circumstances.

Data is processed in accordance with GDPR and Norwegian data protection legislation.

16. Limitation of Liability

IGMA Rental is not liable for indirect loss, loss of profit or consequential damages.

Total liability shall not exceed the rental amount paid, except where mandatory Norwegian law provides otherwise.

17. Payment Disputes and Chargebacks

The Lessee acknowledges and agrees that IGMA Rental is authorized to charge the registered payment method for all amounts due under this Agreement, including charges applied after the rental period.

The Lessee agrees not to initiate a payment dispute or chargeback for valid charges made in accordance with this Agreement.

In the event of an unjustified chargeback, the Lessee remains liable for:

• The original amount due

• Administrative handling costs

• Bank fees incurred

• Reasonable legal or collection costs

IGMA Rental reserves the right to pursue outstanding amounts through collection or legal proceedings if necessary.

18. Changes to Terms

IGMA Rental reserves the right to amend or update these Terms and Conditions at any time.

The applicable Terms are those in effect at the time of booking.

Updated Terms will be published on IGMA Rental’s website.

If changes materially affect customer rights or obligations, such changes will apply only to bookings made after the updated Terms have been published.

Continued use of IGMA Rental’s services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

19. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by Norwegian law.

Disputes shall be resolved by Norwegian courts, with Sogn og Fjordane tingrett as legal venue unless mandatory consumer protection rules provide otherwise.
